For Drivers.

  • What fines do I face if I don't comply with Anti Discrimination, Sexual Harassment & Disability Awareness training requirements?

Drivers failing to complete Anti Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Disability Awareness training after 1st August 2019 may face a fine for 20 penalty units ($2,611). Fines are never fun, and your reputation in the industry is on the line.

  • Can my booking entity refuse the Anti Discrimination, Sexual Harassment & Disability Awareness training I participate in?

BEAs and Service Operators are within their rights to refuse certification from unknown training providers. The DRVR Training course is the approved course of many large operators in QLD.

  • I drive for multiple companies. Can I just do the course once?

Each Booking Entity is within their rights to request you complete any required training through their training provider of choice, however, in most cases your Certificate of Completion will be valid for all BEAs you driver for. When enrolling, include the names of all the Booking Entities you are affiliated with so we have those details on record should you, or your booking entity, be audited and we need to access course data to prove your competency.

  • Why would I need to re-sit the Anti Discrimination, Sexual Harassment & Disability Awareness course again?

The training requirement for Anti Discrimination, Sexual Harassment & Disability Awareness training does not stipulate a renewal date. You may need to re-take the training if you have breached the code of conduct and found guilty of discrimination, sexual harassment or vilification.

For BEAs and Service Operators.

  • What fines do I face if I don't comply with Anti Discrimination, Sexual Harassment & Disability Awareness training requirements in QLD?

From 1st August 2019, all QLD limousine, taxi and rideshare drivers must complete Anti-Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Disability Awareness training before driving for your booking entity. Your drivers can face a fine for 20 penalty units ($2,611). BEAs and Service Operators using non-complying drivers face significant fines. If a BEA or Service Operator is found to be using non-complying drivers, they face a fine of 40 penalty units ($5,222).

  • Why should I outsource Anti Discrimination training?

We are the specialist in Driver Training. You wouldn't get your plumber to service your vehicle so why would you leave your education to anyone but those experienced and committed to superior driver education. Also, we've got your back. If you are ever audited, or one of your drivers has an issue with compliance, DRVR Training will back you up with all the evidence you require. Simply, we take away all of the training stress so you can get on with doing what you do best.

  • I am a large booking entity. Can you personalise the course for our brand?

Absolutely, in fact this is a key part of our business. We can facilitate a bespoke training experience for large fleets of drivers, complete with your branding and customised modules if required. It will feel like your very own in-house training program. Contact us to discuss your needs.

  • What should I look for when choosing a training provider?

Reputation – Choose a reputable training provider, such as DRVR Training, to avoid risk. While you may be able to find other courses satisfying these requirements, or parts of them, they tend to be general in nature. This won't keep your drivers engaged, which means they will be merely "ticking boxes" and less likely to improve their skills as a driver. Relevance – We specialise in your industry, so you know the training will be 100% relevant to your drivers and give them actionable information they can use to improve their skills, change their behaviour and deliver a higher standard for your company. Experienced Trainers – A team of highly experienced course writers means the course content will be of a high standard. Testimonials – Look for industry-leading endorsements and testimonials from other companies.

  • Beyond the regulatory training, why should I invest in more training for my drivers?

You deserve drivers who are trained to treat your clients respectfully while protecting your good name and client base. Our courses offer a full spectrum of highly relevant, high quality courses that are designed specifically for the Limousine, Taxi and Ride Share industry. This tailored approach is crucial to ensure your drivers get the most out of the professional development – which will ultimately enhance your business.

QLD DTMR Training Notice Requirements.

  • What are the changes I need to know about?

From 1 August 2019, all Queensland Taxi, Limousine and Rideshare drivers are required to complete Anti-Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Disability Awareness training before being able to drive professionally.

  • What happens if I don't comply?

Drivers failing to meet these requirements will face a fine for 20 penalty units ($2,611). The fine for BEAs and Service Operators using non-complying drivers is 40 penalty units ($5,222).

  • If I do this course, will I comply?

Completion of this course satisfies the regulatory requirements, in QLD, for all Limousine, Taxi and Ride Share drivers to complete Anti Discrimination (including sexual harassment) & Disability Awareness training.

Student Support FAQs

  • How do I login to my DRVR Training online learning platform?

After you have enrolled in a course, you will receive a confirmation email with all the important login details. If you don't receive this within a reasonable timeframe (within 1 hour or enrolling), check your junk/spam folder in case the email has bypassed your inbox. You can login via our website (www.drvrtraining.com) in the top right-hand corner.

  • I can't log into my DRVR Training account.

As a first step, confirm that you have an account on our site and that your email address is spelled correctly. When students cannot access a course or their account we often find it is because they are using the wrong or misspelled email address.

  • I forgot my password.

Students can reset their password by going to the DRVR Training site, clicking Sign in and then selecting Forgot my password. You will then be issued a password reset email.

  • I've tried to reset my password but it's not working.

If you've attempted to reset your password, you may see a message upon activating your reset password link error – "reset token failed". You may be seeing this message for a couple of reasons. The reset password token is valid for 6 hours, so if you click to trigger the email and then wait more than 6 hours they will get an error saying the token is expired. This error can also happen if they hit the reset password button more than once. If you trigger the reset email more than once it will make only the most recent email token valid, it will invalidate any old email tokens. If you've reset your password several times, you are seeing this error because you have not clicked on the most recent password reset link. If you are resetting your password, click the reset button once and wait for 5 - 10 minutes to receive the email. Reset it within the 6 hour window from the time of reset. If you are still having difficulties, contact us at [email protected].

  • What is the "Licence Number" you ask for at enrolment sign-up?

Your DA Licence number is required for compliance on some of our courses. This number will only appear on your Certificate of Completion if it's saved in your Student Profile, or provided upon enrolment. Your name on the Certificate is not enough to prove compliance. Please provide us with your correct DA Number when you enrol so it is linked with your DRVR Training account.

  • I've enrolled in a bundled course. I've finished the first course. How do I get back to view the other course?

So you've finished one of the courses in a course bundle, and not sure what to do next? At any time during the course, you can click on the "Go To Dashboard" button in the top left-hand corner, or click on the menu icon. Here you will find all the courses you are enrolled in.

  • I didn't get my Certificate of Completion.

Access to your certificate is automatically emailed to the email address you nominate when you enrol. If you haven't received it, check your junk/spam folder in case the email has bypassed your inbox. You can also access your certificate through your Account on our online portal. See the detailed instructions at the bottom of this page to download the instructions. If you are still having issues, please contact us on [email protected]

  • I'm having trouble playing the videos and audio in your course.

Often, this issue is caused by a browser problem on the student's computer. We recommend that all internet browsers be up to date before viewing our online training. If you're not sure what browser you're using you can check out here: https://www.whatsmybrowser.org/ Here are some basic browser troubleshooting steps that are a great starting point if you are having issues playing video/audio. (1) Clear cache and restart the browser. Also check if you’re using the newest version of the browser. (2) Try a different browser – we like Google Chrome. (3) Try an Incognito / Private Window – this will rule out an issue with browser extensions. (4) Restart the device – it's a cliche but it works! If possible, try a different device or a different internet connection. School and/or corporate firewalls occasionally block our video provider.
